No sewing required with the CM-1053. The back side of the clip is equipped with a coupler for straps. The coupler has teeth to hold straps in place to reduce slipping. Clamp down the flaps with a plier and straps will hold in place.
The metal, clamp coupler suspender clip can accommodate for straps up to 1/2" wide. CM-1053 does not come with a plastic teeth insert, however, the clip has metal teeth to hold items in place.
